TAK Trails is a community-driven platform where users share ATAK, WinTAK, and iTAK mission data packages, including trail routes, waypoints, and related information for overlanding, off-roading, UTV/ATV use, mountain biking, hiking, and similar outdoor activities. This content is submitted by individual users and is not independently verified, inspected, or maintained by TAK Trails.
Trail conditions change constantly due to weather, seasonal closures, erosion, washouts, fallen trees, land management decisions, fire damage, and many other factors. A package marked as a certain difficulty level or described as passable at the time of upload may no longer reflect current, real-world conditions. TAK Trails makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or current validity of any package, route, waypoint, or description on this site.
Overlanding, off-roading, UTV/ATV riding, motorcycling, mountain biking, hiking, and backcountry travel carry inherent risks, including but not limited to vehicle damage, injury, getting lost, becoming stranded, and death. By using any information, package, or route obtained from this site, you acknowledge and accept that you do so entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether a trail or route is appropriate for your vehicle, equipment, skill level, and the current conditions before attempting it.
Trail access, legality, and permitted use can vary by jurisdiction and land manager (BLM, USFS, NPS, state, county, or private land) and can change without notice. It is your responsibility to verify current access rules, seasonal restrictions, permit requirements, and land ownership before traveling on any route shared on this site.
TAK Trails, its operator, and contributors are not liable for any injury, death, property damage, vehicle damage, fines, citations, or other loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use of information, packages, or routes found on this website. This includes packages uploaded by other users as well as any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in those packages.
Packages and trail data on this site are submitted by individual community members, not by TAK Trails staff. Community members may also submit suggested corrections to existing packages, which are reviewed by the original uploader before being applied. TAK Trails does not independently verify user submissions or suggested edits for accuracy before they go live or are approved.
Always travel with a properly equipped and prepared vehicle, carry recovery gear appropriate to the trail's difficulty, let someone know your planned route and expected return time, carry a means of emergency communication (such as a satellite communicator in areas without cell service), and check current land manager advisories before heading out.
ATAK-CIV (the civilian version of ATAK) is classified by the U.S. Department of Commerce as EAR99, meaning it cannot be legally shared with individuals or organizations in countries subject to U.S. embargoes, sanctions, or export restrictions. In compliance with this classification, TAK Trails does not offer country selection for embargoed or sanctioned nations, and does not knowingly facilitate the distribution of ATAK-related content to restricted countries or parties. Users are responsible for their own compliance with applicable export control laws.
